Southend play their first home match of 2004 tomorrow and are looking to avenge their most miserable result of the season.
At the end of November, director of rugby Kevin Harman was furious with his side after their worst performance of the year ended in a 57-27 defeat at Weston-Super-Mare.
He has seen his side hit new heights since then, though, with a couple of impressive wins over high-flying North Walsham and Haywards Heath sandwiched by narrow defeats to National 3S leaders Black-heath.
So tomorrow represents a real chance to lay the ghosts of that November horror show to rest.
The pick of the other matches is the London 4NE clash between leaders Basildon and fifth-placed neighbours Rochford Hundred, who are looking to complete the double over the newtowners.
