Southend United will receive £30,000 after the BBC confirmed that highlights of the Blues cup replay at Scarborough next Wednesday would be featured on "Match of the Day".
And the Blues have been handed a further cash incentive to win the replay on January 14.
Sky Sports have announced the fourth round tie against either Watford or Chelsea will be screened live - earning each televised side £265,000.
The match would take place on January 24, kicking off at 12.30pm.
The potential of the Shrimpers taking on moneybags Premiership side Chelsea would also guarantee a 12,343 capacity crowd at Roots Hall, although gate receipts would be split with Claudio Ranieri's side and the Football Association.
But Blues would keep profits from catering and merchandise sales.
