Southend United striker Tes Bramble is doubtful for this Friday's visit to Cheltenham Town, having suffered a hamstring strain during the 1-1 draw with Scarborough on Saturday.
The 23-year-old hitman, who has netted seven goals this season, was substituted just before the break against the Seadogs.
And Blues caretaker chief Steve Tilson admitted Bramble could face a short spell on the sidelines. "Tes' hamstring is still very sore," said Tilson.
"Hopefully we stopped the injury getting too serious and he won't be out for too long, although I would say he's doubtful for our game against Cheltenham this week."
