People with diabetes are being asked to help the health service develop diabetic services.
The aim is for patients who have experience of the condition to have a voice in the future planning and provision of services.
Braintree Care Trust is planning to hold a meeting on February 26 to take the idea forward and will hold regular meetings every eight to 10 weeks to develop the scheme.
The meetings are usually in the evening with a sandwich supper provided and are held at the Diabetes Centre at Broomfield Hospital.
Anyone interested in the scheme can contact Carol Anderson on 01376 333704.
