I was Jean Perkins and lived in Fairfax Drive prior to my marriage. I am trying to trace Mrs Sandra Lloyd, formerly Watkins.

She would now be aged 58-60, as she attended Southend High School for Girls around 1957. She lived in Rayleigh, in a turning off Eastwood Road.

We both trained at Jill Welbourne School of Dance, Earls Hall Avenue, Southend, where we first met. We attended classes in ballet, modern and tap-dancing.

Among our fellow students were Wendy, Sandra, Lee, Penny and Michael. She taught dancing for a time with Wendy when they established their own dancing school.

Sandra also trained at the Bush Davies School of Dance for several years. She had an older brother called Roger who attended Southend High School for Boys.

Sandra was bridesmaid to Ron and me in September 1961, and I tried to contact her the year of our 40th wedding anniversary, with no luck.

Sandra and Robert Lloyd married a few years after us and lived in Southchurch, Southend. There were four children: Marcus, Ann and Candida, all born in Southend, and a fourth child born in London, whose name I do not know.

Marcus would be around 37 years of age now. Ann attended dancing lessons at the Pat Prime Dancing School in Prittlewell for a short time, before the family moved to London. Candida would have been quite young at the time of the move.

We lost contact with Sandra on the move to London, which was to further her husband's singing career in an opera company - possibly the English National Opera.

All old friends have lost contact with Sandra, although on one occasion a message was sent from a London theatre from Sandra, who was acting as children's chaperon to the Italia Conti School in London.

Our move to New Zealand was 28 years ago. Hopefully, Sandra can contact me. Although it is a long time ago, I have often thought about her and would love to make contact once again.
