More than 80 young players are battling it out this week for a place in the finals at the Westcliff Hardcourts Junior Open Tournament.

The event started on Tuesday and is running every day up until Saturday's finals.
Most of the entries have come from the south-east Essex area, but players have also come from Chelmsford and Romford to take part.
"It is an open tournament for under-tens to under-18s, who will be playing a mixture of knockout tournament and round robin matches," said John Chesher, one of the event's organisers.
"There are 15 events being contested and the finals will run from 11am to 4pm."
