South Fambridge marksman Ben Miller put in a good performance in his first ever international event.
The 16-year-old was representing Great Britain the Junior Men's skeet shooting events at the European Championships in the Czech city of Brno.
And although he eventually came 33rd in the 50 target event and 39th in the 25 target competition he showed great potential for the future.
In both contests he found himself among the early leaders after shooting impressive 24-point opening rounds.
