Twenty-two weeks after the inquiry opened on February 25, closing statements from several of the leading objectors and the applicants are due to be heard tomorrow.

Among those due to give closing statements tomorrow is the Shell Haven Project Environmental Action Committee - a residents' protest group.

Thurrock Council, the RSPB and the Environment Agency will also appear.
