Star midfielder Joe Cole is set to complete a £6.6million transfer from West Ham to Chelsea -- and fans are planning a demonstration to protest against the sale of the club's biggest assets.
A medical and contract discussions are still to be resolved, but the deal is likely to be sealed by tomorrow so Cole can be registered in the Champions League squad.
Supporters were distributing fliers calling for a stand-in protest after the home game with Sheffield United on August 16 at last week's friendly against PSV Eindhoven.
And now the Brown Out group, which is commited to finding a new board of directors to take over the club, is urging all fans to voice their concerns at the Rushden & Diamonds League Cup clash on August 13.
A spokesman for the group called on fans to boycott the game and gather outside the stadium for a protest at the main gates.
