Colchester United manager Phil Parkinson is delighted that the season will get under way without a hitch.
Saturday's Nationwide League Division Two opener at Barnsley was under threat because of the Yorkshire club's financial situation.
But the Football League has given the thumbs up for the match against the U's to go ahead.
Parkinson said: "I've not been worrying about whether it will go ahead or not.
"I've just been focusing on getting us prepared and what we have got to do to win it.
"The fixture was there and we have just been getting on with the job in hand."
