Police today praised the first two appearances of a new mobile skate park touring the borough.
The mobile facilities - which include a selection of pipes, ramps and jumps for bike and board enthusiasts - have been very popular with children on their school holidays.
The two events so far, organised by Castle Point Council and Essex police's Rayleigh division, have been held at the Paddocks car park, Long Road, Canvey, last Thursday and John Burrows Sports Ground, Rectory Road, Hadleigh, on Monday.
Sgt Kevin Diable-White said: "We are pleased a good number of young people have come along."
