A health and beauty drop-in centre providing a listening ear for the underprivileged is looking to expand.
The centre, based at Original Cuts, in Spa Road, Witham, was set up by a group of volunteers looking to help people with mental health problems, stress and loneliness, and those who are on low incomes, benefits or who are pensioners.
The volunteers have since become a voluntary organisation by the name of Light at the Crossroads and the drop-in centre is such a success that they are looking to take on more therapists and move to larger premises.
Secretary Steve Franklin added: "We are getting more people coming along all the time as word of mouth spreads and we want to help as many people as we can that is why we want to expand."
