The long wait may finally be over for Colchester United's Dean Morgan. He is finally due to pull on the blue and white stripes against Arsenal reserves in a behind closed doors friendly.
"I need to play a game," said a frustrated Morgan who has missed all of the U's pre-season friendlies so far.
"To watch the other guys play against sides like Charlton and Ipswich has been frustrating. I've always wanted to play against big opposition."
Morgan, 19, injured his thigh two weeks into pre-season and has not been able to join the rest of the squad in all of their training sessions.
