Danny Pryke's magnificent seven earned Billericay a resounding seven-wicket win over Southend.
The paceman decimated the hosts' innings, finishing with 7-31, while Nathan Batson chipped in with 3-17.
New captain Paul Southgate made 35no as fourth-placed Billericay cruised to their target with the minimum of fuss inside 13 overs.
Southend skipper Ian Heiser was far from happy with his side's display.
"We were awful," said Heiser. "We just played bad shots and they held their catches to make sure we paid for it -- it was just of those days."
