A former police officer has been jailed for eight months for assaulting a bus driver.
Marvin Rothman, 40, of Bosstower Gardens, in Braintree, was found guilty of assaulting bus driver Raymond Horne during a bus strike at Norwich on January 6 this year.
Rothman had already admitted being in possession of a lock knife on the day in question.
The jury, at Norwich Crown Court, took two and a half hours to find the former police constable guilty of assault before Judge David Mellor jailed him for eight months for the assault and for carrying the knife.
The jury found Rothman not guilty of threatening to kill Mr Horne.
