An estimated 2,800 music fans staked out their places on the grass of Colchester's Lower Castle Park for a night of rock on Friday as tribute artists belted out a string of well-known hits.
Top of the bill was the We Will Rock You tribute show starring The Kings of Queen with strong support from acts paying homage to the likes of Tina Turner, Tom Jones and Rod Stewart.
Following on from the success of Friday night's tribute rock shows, thousands enjoyed a night of classical music, sponsored by the Evening Gazette.
The extravangaza of music was presented by Classic FM's John Brunning and featured the National Pops Orchestra conducted by Martin Pring.
