Police are appealing for a man with a clipboard to come forward and be eliminated as a possible burglary suspect.
He is around 50, 5ft 7ins to 5ft 10ins tall with silver/grey short hair.
He has been seen carrying a clipboard in the Wickford and Billericay areas.
A Basildon police spokesman said: "We would like him to come forward to eliminate him as a possible suspect to a number of burglaries in the area." Wickford CID can be contacted on 01268 244047.
