Stanford maintained their promotion push with a comfortable seven-wicket victory away to Buckhurst Hill.
And leaders Hutton did second-placed Stanford a favour by beating third-placed Harold Wood to put even more daylight between the teams battling for the second promotion spot.
Ryan Casey claimed four wickets and Ross Poulton three as Buckhurst Hill were bowled out for just 150 on home soil. Scott Noble led the visitors' reply with 64 as Stanford cruised past their target for the loss of only three wickets.
"It was a good win, especially as Harold Wood lost to Hutton," said Stanford vice-captain Duncan Page. "Hutton are screaming away at the top but we have pulled away from Harold Wood.
"We go to Old Brentwoods next week and are back to full strength."
