A grieving dad today talked for the first time of his fun-loving son who died after his motorbike careered into a telegraph pole.
Craig Abbott, a 17-year-old Westcliff shopworker, was critically injured when his red Suzuki Bandit spun off the road in Victoria Avenue, Southend. He died later in Southend Hospital
His father David Abbott , of St Mark's Road, Hadleigh, said: "Craig lived his life to the full. His smile and cheerful personality will be remembered by all who knew and loved him."
