The park - made up of portable jumps, ramps and pipes - has been set up by Castle Point Council and Essex Police to give youngsters something to do during the summer holidays.
Eva McIlwaine, a community development manager at the council, said: "The day was a resounding success."
"We couldn't believe how well it went down and hopefully even more children will come to our next event."
The park is lined up for another three days during the summer.
It will appear at:
John Burrows recreation ground, Rectory Road, Hadleigh - today
The Paddocks - Friday August 8.
Woodside recreation ground, Manor Road, Benfleet - Tuesday August 12.
Each day runs from 10am to 3pm and participants need to bring their own boards and bikes. To find out more call the council offices on 01268 882200 or visit: www.baseline-promotions.co.uk.
