The third Brightlingsea music festival was a great success, with nine bands and other attractions on offer during Saturday, watched by 3,000 people.

Live music could be heard in some of the town's pubs on Friday night, while Lend Us a Tenor, a mixed student and staff jazz band from Colne Community School, kicked things off on Saturday.
There was a large dome stage put up in Promenade Way which folk/punk band The Salt Dogs headlined while a string of other bands played throughout the day.
The free festival ended with a fireworks display.
