A determined grandmother is seeking legal advice in a bid to save her beach hut.
Maddie Fuller, along with other hut owners at Walton's South Beach site, mounted weeks of all-day vigils at her hut after being told to dismantle it.
New Walton Pier, who own the site, told nearly 90 hut owners they had to move their huts because of continual land slippage problems on the area, which needs urgent repair work.
But Mrs Fuller, of High Street, Walton, says she is going to fight for the right to keep her hut for the sake of her ten children and 31 grandchildren.
She said: "I'm very determined. The huts are part of the history of Walton and they're just taking it away from us."
Mrs Fuller said she is now consulting a solicitor to see where she stands and has been told she can start fundraising towards her cause.
