Poor weather conditions once again caused problems on day four of West Mersea Sailing Club's annual Cadet Week.
Racing had to be postponed in the morning because of a lack of wind but, after lunch, one long race was held in the afternoon.
It was a day for the Toppers in the slow handicap with Charlotte Powell and Sophie Graham hot on the heels of fleet leader Georgina Sunnucks.
Harry Sharpe got a sharp start in the medium handicap, winning his third consecutive race in his Topaz Uno.
