A restaurant owner has made an appeal after thieves stole his 5ft statue for the second time in two months.
Leewatt Tripibunsuk says he feels "disappointed" after the statue was taken from the entrance of the Siam-on-Sea Thai restaurant, in Rosemary Road, Clacton
He has asked anyone who has seen the teak ornament, worth more than £250, to contact police.
The special statue of a Thai woman in national costume was last stolen last month when thieves put it on their shoulders and carried it off down the road.
Police later recovered the wooden statue, intended to greet people as they walk into the restaurant, and it was back in place when it was taken for the second time.
Mr Tripibunsuk, who opened the restaurant four months ago, said: "I thought about chaining her up but I didn't believe people would steal her again. I'm really disappointed."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Clacton Police on 01255 221312
