A new service catering for heart patients across mid and north Essex has been unveiled.

He said: "We have been hoping for this for ten years and in the last couple of years, it's started to become a realistic situation.
"If we save one person, it's more than worthwhile."
Cardiac angiography is a diagnostic procedure which looks at the blood vessels supplying the heart and determines how efficiently it is pumping blood.
It is carried out on patients who have had heart attacks or suffer from angina and takes about half an hour.
The suite will serve patients from the Mid Essex Hospital Service NHS Trust, which covers Braintree, Witham, Halstead, Maldon and Chelmsford, as well as the Essex Rivers NHS Trust, which covers Colchester and Clacton.
The suite will start taking patients from Friday.
