Carnival revellers basked in the sunshine as Great Bentley staged its annual event around England's largest village green.
The procession proved a popular draw for residents, who also enjoyed all the fun of stalls and sideshows, funfair, children's races and displays.
The street collection alone raised £615. The money brought in from the other attractions is still being gathered up and counted.
All funds from the day will be split between 12 youth organisations in the village.
Bev Adams, procession secretary, said organisers were slightly disappointed with the turnout on the streets but the collection was up on last year.
"The day was a success and everyone enjoyed themselves, which is the main thing," she said.
"It was difficult to attract floats for the procession due to insurance costs but we had six visiting queens, two bands and two groups of cheerleaders, along with all the walkers."
