Stanford kept up the pressure on leaders Hutton with a five-wicket triumph away to Harold Wood.
Nadeem Sohail (84) was the architect of the hosts' innings as he combined with D Hollingsworth for a 121 second wicket stand.
But Harold Wood then started to see wickets fall as Ross Poulton (4-65) got to work. Skipper Martin Hathaway (3-20) mopped up the late order batsmen within 51.5 overs.
Peter Gray (60) and Scott Noble (56) linked up to produce 113 for the second wicket as the Stanford reply got off to a fine start.
Mark Lewis chipped in an unbeaten 44 at the end as the visitors reached their target in 39.5 overs, with only Sohail (2-29) having any luck among the Harold Wood attack.
"We are pleased to get another win on the board," said a Stanford spokesman. "A few of those who usually only stay in the clubhouse for one drink stayed for a few more on Saturday, so our winning form is certainly making for a good atmosphere."
