Skipper Devang Gandhi smashed his first century of the season but to no avail as his Hadleigh side were well beaten by title contenders Gidea Park and Romford.
Indian Test star Ghandi played a dominant innings of 119 but found little support from the rest of his side, with only Hafeez Quereshi offering real resistance -- he made 51 in their below-par 240 all out.
"We needed at least 250 after being put in, but they won pretty easily so to be honest even 300 may not have been enough," said Hadleigh spokesman Jon Wagstaff.
After securing their first win last week and impressing in the field for the past few matches, Hadleigh were disappointing with the ball this time around as Romford eased to 243-4 with time and overs to spare.
