Chris Williams hit an unbeaten century while skipper Tim Wade enjoyed a great day with bat and ball, but Westcliff had to settle for a frustrating draw at Hornchurch.
Opener John Pratt (46) laid the foundations for Westcliff's 288-5 in 48 overs batting first while Williams (102no) and Wade (73) enjoyed even more success.
Wade then took 5-69 as Horchurch responded with 258-8, and was happy with his side's performance.
Chris Drum took 3-65 off 16 overs but was the main culprit when it came to slowing the over-rate thanks to his long run-up.
