A traditional Sunday walk in the park took on a whole new look when more than 100 dogs and their owners arrived.
The walkers at Highwoods Country Park in Colchester were all taking part in the annual Headway Dogathon, an event which is itself becoming a tradition.

The sponsored walk is held to raise funds for the Headway charity, which helps victims of serious head injury and their families.
After the walk, many dogs and owners stayed to take part in the Fun Dog Show, which included competitions for the dog with the waggiest tail, or with the most colourful character.
