Thousands of visitors are expected to gather in Lake Meadows on Saturday (June 28) to make "once a year friends" at the annual Fun Day.
More than 40 of Billericay's groups and organisations who normally never meet up will be coming together for a date in the park to help raise funds, entertain the public and spread the word about what they do.
The event is organised by Billericay Mayflower Rotary Club and chairman of its organising committee, Brian Copsey, said: "The Fun Day has now been established as part of the town's calendar since it was first held five years ago.
"It has become vitally important for local organisations who want to raise their profile locally and visitors who join us for the first time are never disappointed."
Town Crier, Jim Shrubb, is due to kick the day off with a clarion call at 11am and then it will be on with the fun with something promised for everyone.
There will be bouncy castles, the young motor cycle team, the organ grinder, Punch and Judy and husky teams.
A spokesman for the Billericay Mayflower Rotary Club added: "That's not all. Addiction, the locally based and talented music group will be playing throughout the day with a new line up.
"Visitors to the Fun Day will see the first public appearance in the town of Billericay Football Club's new manager, Justin Edinburgh, the former premiership footballer charged with taking the team to new heights in the Ryman League. Billericay FC and the cricket club have been regular supporters of the event since it was first created."
