A fresh appeal has been made for witnesses to an accident which left a 90-year-old woman with serious injuries.

The Dovercourt woman is still in hospital but in a stable condition. She was left with multiple fractures after the accident in Main Road, Dovercourt, on Wednesday, June 11, at 2.50pm.

She was travelling in a taxi when the collision happened, which also involved a pick-up truck and a Honda Civic car. She was taken to Colchester General Hospital.

A spokesman for Essex Police said: "There were many other motorists on the road and many other people who have not come forward with details that could help."
