Essex seamer Andrew McGarry has picked up another injury in a summer that started so promisingly but has quickly gone wrong.
When the Basildon-born seamer began the season with a five-wicket haul against Cambridge University and he was picked to spearhead the attack in the opening County Championship game against Middlesex it looked like this could be his breakthrough season.

But a series of injuries have scuppered his ambition of cementing a first-team place.
His latest problem is a hamstring strain, picked up when playing for Loughton in the Shepherd Neame Essex Premier League.
