Action will be taken to protect a town recreation ground under continuous attack by vandals.
Windows were smashed and boards ripped from the outside of a changing room on the sports area off Roydon Way, Frinton, at the weekend.
It is the second time police have been called to the site in two weeks.
Up to £1,000 worth of damage was caused to Frinton Bowls Club last time when greens were left severely damaged.
The toilet block and changing rooms close to the field were also targeted two weeks ago. The changing rooms are used by footballers and other field users.
Mike Page for Tendring Council said they received an emergency call-out for windows to be boarded up and other repairs before any further problems at the site.
He said: "We are in the process of arranging a meeting with park recreation ground users and the police to see if we can determine a solution."
