Things went prehistoric when a special guest dropped in at Eastwood school.
On hand to judge the school's Stars in their Eyes-style talent contest was actress Lucinda Rhodes-Flaherty, known to millions of teenagers as Big Sis in the BBC children's comedy drama Cavegirl.

The contest was organised by sixth-formers Chelayne Richards and Laura Gough, and featured dozens of youngsters, who performed as their favourite stars.
Even the teachers joined in, with staff members Kathryn Finn and Theresa Noble starring as Abba's Agnetha and Anni-Frid.
The contest was won by 14-year-old Tessa Isaacs, who performed Latin star Shakira's hit number Whenever, Wherever.
The event, which was held at the Eastwood Studio Theatre, raised £700 for Little Haven Children's Hospice.
Theatre manager Mary-Ann Connolly said: "It was great that Lucinda could be there."
