Arsonists were today being blamed after a car was set on fire just feet away from an electrical sub-station.
Firefighters called to the scene in Beveland, Canvey, at 10.45pm yesterday were met with huge flames pouring from the burning vehicle and black smoke engulfing the area.
Officers had to take extra care as the blazing car was only 5ft away from an electrical sub-station.
