Around 100 families turned out for the drop-in workshop organised by the Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership to help mums and dads learn how to play.

Runnymede Hall, in Kiln Road, Thundersley, was packed as youngsters and parents took having fun to heart.

Development officer Sharon Packman said: "We wanted to show parents they did not need to have a lot of money and buy expensive toys to play."
