A paedophile whose face appeared on BBC's Crimewatch was captured within an hour.
Tanker driver John Stanley, who lives in a caravan off Coxes Farm Road, Billericay, was picked up by police in Plymouth, Devon.
Stanley, 57, pleaded guilty at Basildon Crown Court to five offences of indecent assault and five counts of indecency, involving girls aged eight. He was jailed for four years.
Prosecutor Adam Wiseman described how Stanley's picture and name was screened on Crimewatch between 9pm and 10pm last February.
By 10.30pm he had been picked up in Plymouth, added Mr Wiseman.
Judge Frank Lockhart told Stanley it was "a troubling and worrying case".
He said: "I'm dealing here with a situation in which you cynically and systematically exploited these little girls."
The judge said there was no clear indication how long Stanley had been offending.
Crimewatch production assistant Fiona White said: "The response to this case was very good."
