Two landlords are hoping their regulars will take the plunge to raise money for charity.
Grant Sharpe and Neil Stacey, business partners at The Sailor Boy, St Osyth, are hoping to raise thousands of pounds at their annual charity event.
Next Saturday, a 200ft crane will be at the site, and they hope hundreds of daredevil punters will queue up for bungee jumps.
Mr Sharpe said: "Last year more than 70 people did the jump. Hopefully we will get more this year."
It is the third time the event has been held. Last year they raised £2,500 for St Helena Hospice, which they are hoping to beat.
This year money raised will go towards the Essex Air Ambulance.
On the day, fellow landlord Mr Stacey has agreed to have his head shaved and chest waxed to boost funds. He hopes to raise £500 for going through the pain.
Mr Sharpe said bungee jumpers could turn up on the day and pay £40 to jump the first time, then a further £10 to do it again.
The event starts at noon. For more information and a sponsorship form, call 01255 821062.
