A Sunday pharmacy is needed in Witham, according to a newly-launched health forum.
Members of the Witham, Braintree and Halstead Care Trust shadow user forum, which promotes the interests of patients, voiced concerns at the lack of pharmacy facilities on Sundays, at its first meeting recently.
Norma O'Hara,of the trust, said: "The Trust has got to follow that up with the pharmacies to see what can be done."
She said posters have been put up in pharmacies across the district to display opening times of other chemists, to help people if their local service is closed.
A public meeting has been arranged for people to talk about any health issue in Witham, on July 10.
It will take place at 7pm at Public Hall, Collingwood Road in the town.
