A Southend hotel is playing host once again to a 101-year-old woman who has spent her annual holidays in Southend for the last ten years.
Flo Lock, spritely except for her walking stick - the legacy of two muggings - arrives at the Grosvenor Hotel in Grosvenor Road, from her Woodford Green residential home as regular as clockwork each year.

She said: "I am really enjoying myself. I am just having a lovely time. I have been coming here for ten years for my holiday and am very used to it now.
"I still get about well. I can dance but I can't do a knees-up now!"
Hotel owner Patrick Henstock said: "We specialise in catering for elderly and disabled people. Flo is great. Despite breaking her hip because of a mugging she gets about really well and she has still got all her marbles."
