Canvey angler Richard Martin weighed in a tremendous 27lb 10oz bream and tench haul to take first place in the third leg of Tony Cheeseman's Colmic-sponsored Northlands Park Evening Series.
Richard fished the road lake from a swim at the end of the central causeway, the Diawa Dorking squad member used a quivertip to start well before experiencing a quiet hour in the middle of the match.
His fish returned later in the match and for the final 45 minutes of the event he was taking a fish a cast.
Second place went to fellow Canvey man Graham Hyde, who is stamping his authority on the series having now taken a first and two second places in three matches.
Graham's latest runner-up spot came from a cafe lake swim on the middle causeway. Graham fished a quivertip to weigh in a total of 23lb 6oz 8dr. This included a cracking tench of 4lb 12oz taken on the final whistle.
Wayne Candy claimed third with 21lb 8oz of bream and skimmers taken from a swim below the cafe, while Jim Bance fished alongside the slipway to weigh in four bream and a tench totalling 18lb 10oz.
