Food fans will be able to enjoy a full English breakfast and still feel good about themselves at a big charity event this weekend.
Members of Laindon's Steeple View Community Association will be cooking up a treat on Saturday at their Breakfast For Charity to raise cash for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and Essex Air Ambulance.

Association secretary Mari Hartgen said: "Four years ago I read an article in the Evening Echo about doing a breakfast at home for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and I thought we could have a community breakfast."
The association's fourth event, at the Memorial Hall in Willowfields, Steeple View, between 9am and noon, will include homemade cakes and a guide dogs information stall.
