Tasty dishes and lessons from the world of art and literature formed the perfect cocktail for a celebration of diverse culture.
The event was held at Belfairs High School in Leigh.

Art, music, customs and traditions of people around the world were explored during Inter-cultural week.
Teachers from the school in Highlands Boulevard, ran workshops on Henna body art, exotic cooking and mask marking. Pupils also dressed up in traditional dress from around the globe.
Ms Patricia Cartwright, head of language support said: "We have more than 100 students from different countries and 26 different languages spoken within our school.
"This week was designed to get students involved in a range of activities that celebrate the cultural diversity in our society, and within the school."
