Eureka! The bathtime activities of Archimedes have won a Colchester man £21,666.
Dan Sackey, 26, was competing on the national lottery quiz In It To Win It on BBC1 and managed to get through to the winning question for a share of £65,000.
He was faced with the question 'Who famously jumped out of a bath and shouted eureka?' and instantly knew the answer.
Mr Sackey said: "It was the ideal question for me, I knew it straight away. My father had drummed maths and physics into me since I was six or even younger."
Mr Sackey plans to spend his winnings on a holiday exploring China and the East, heading to Australia for the Rugby World Cup. He also plans to take a sky-diving training course.
Mr Sackey, 26, grew up in Colchester, leaving two years ago to move to London for work. He regularly returns to the town to meet up with family and friends
