Five gymnasts from the Wickford based Carousel Club were entered with outstanding results in the latest County level seven competition.
Four of them returned with medals from the Colchester event.

In the year seven/eight age group, Wickford's Alex Rapley had an excellent all-round competition, achieving the highest score of the day on bars and performing three other consistent pieces to take the title and gold medal.
Rayleigh clubmate Hollie Robinson, with an excellent vault and floor routine, collected silver.
The 9/10 age group saw Westcliff's Isabel Theobald win a silver medal with the highest vault score and a second place on bars, beam and floor.
In the 11-plus age group, Laura Pulfer won her first ever gold medal. The Wickford based gymnast had excellent all-round performances and achieved second place on vault and third on bars.
Clubmate Tiffany Mische suffered two errors on beam and finished eighth.
