Abbotts Hall, Stanford-le-Hope, and Stifford Clays, from Grays, were successful when the local round of the BBC Sport Kwik Cricket Festival for primary schools was staged at Basildon and Pitsea's Mopsies Park home.

They will now go on to the County finals, being held at Billericay's Blunt Wall Road home on June 30, where success will see winning teams through to the regional event at Bury St Edmunds in July.
The competition then reaches fruition with the national finals being played at the Nottinghamshire County Ground Test arena at Trent Bridge.
