College bosses were on tenterhooks today, waiting to see whether a £200,000 sports arena dream can become reality.
Seevic, in Runnymede Chase, Thundersley, successfully applied to the Government for the right to become a Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) for sports and leisure.
But if Castle Point Council's planning committee decides not to approve vital extension work tonight, the dream will be shattered.
