Colchester Harriers' young athletes were in great form at Melbourne Park, Chelmsford.
Representing North East Essex Schools, four of them enjoyed wins and nine others claimed medals.
Nicola Gaisford won the junior girls' 75m hurdles in 12 seconds.
Clarrisa Nash equalled her personal best to win the intermediate girls' 100m in 12.7s.
Darren Steadman won the intermediate boy's high jump with a 1.87 metre clearance, while Jamie Earle was also victorious after throwing the hammer 51.53m.
Silver medals went to junior girls Stacey Wheat - two minutes 28.6s in the 800m - and Nichole Leggett - 26.7s in the 200m.
In the junior boys' high jump, Chris Dale cleared a personal best 1.72m to achieve the entry standard and take the silver medal.
In the intermediate category, Jessica Mole achieved the entry standard in the shot competition, taking silver with her best putt, measured at 10.30m.
There were also intermediate silver medals for Michelle Holdsworth, with a personal best 10.21m in the triple jump, and Adam Boyton, 53.3s in the 400m.
Bronze medals were taken by Andrew Poole in the year seven boy's 800m in 2m 25.5s, Sophie Wojtkiw in the junior girls' 100m in 13.3s and David Holgate in the intermediate boy's 1,500m in 4m 20.9s.
Colchester and Tendring members also came away with four medals.
Star of the day was Zack King, who was in superb form and hurled the javelin 43.13m to take gold in the junior boys' section, gaining the Essex title.
Jade Morgan was also in top form in the junior girls' long jump.

Charlotte Taylor gave a good account of herself in the junior girls' 800m, finishing third in 2.31m to win bronze in the junior girls' 1,500m.
