Paul Collingwood, headteacher at the school, said 120 seven to 11-year-olds were treated to an afternoon of drama with audience participation, pointing out the dangers of drug abuse.
The group dealt with the risks involved in smoking and drinking, as well as the dangers of hard drugs. He said: "This is part of our health education programme.
"We encourage our children to lead healthy lifestyles and hope to give them the relevant knowledge to make wise decisions in the future."
The workshop was sponsored by the BP Coryton Refinery.
